First National Bank of Polk County in Rockmart is selling baked goods today and next Friday to raise awareness of breast cancer.

The bank staff undertook this event in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed in October.

The sale of baked goods began at 9 a.m. and will continue until 5 p.m. or until they run out of food.

"All items will be pink," bank administrative assistant Charity Williams said. "We will have chocolate pretzels, cookies, cupcakes, muffins, candy, kool-aid, cake and rice crispy treats!"

All proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.

For more information contact Williams at First National Bank of Polk County, 678-747-5352.

The bake sale is at our Rockmart Branch only and will be today and October 30th. We will not have a Bake Sale on Saturday. Please come out and support Relay for Life!
