SAVANNAH, GA. — A Savannah man says a teenager armed with a pellet gun shot him in the face as the man was driving with his family in the car.

WTOC-TV reports witnesses saw the boy fire a pellet gun at the car Monday after the teen had gotten off a school bus. They say the teen shooter was still wearing his school uniform.

The wife of the injured driver pointed out the suspect to police, who took the boy away in a patrol car. The driver suffered a cut on his face but wasn't taken to the hospital.

Savannah-Chatham County school system police are investigating.
