Polk County firefighters responded to two blazes Monday.

Officials said an electrical fire occurred in a mobile home at the Old Dingler Mobile Home Park on Wieuca Way. The fire was put out quickly and the home suffered only minor damage.

A second blaze was called in Monday afternoon at 197 Coaling Road. Officials said that was a woods fire and Georgia Forestry crews were called in battling that blaze.

The fire was extinguished before it could endanger any homes, officials said.

No injuries were reported with either blaze.
