MACON, GA. — Authorities say a police officer's ammunition sent bullets flying as firefighters battled a Macon house fire.

The Telegraph reports that firefighters were called to the fire around 4:20 a.m.

Crews on the scene reported "bullets flying everywhere" at the police officer's home, but no one was hurt.

Fire officials say the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
