PLEASANT HILL BAPTIST

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 844 Pleasant Hill Road, Rockmart will observe Homecoming on Sunday, July 15 starting at 11 a.m. Special singers will be “Second Coming” from Griffin, Ga. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

VICTORY BAPTIST

Victory Baptist Church will host a benefit Gospel singing for Braelynn Guice on Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. at Peeks Park in Cedartown. Hopes Journey and Enlisted will be the featured singers.

Hamburger or Hotdog plates with slaw and baked beans will be available for $6. Tickets can be purchased from the Cedartown Police Department and Cedartown Police Explorers. Orders can also be placed on the day of the event.

All profits from the events will help the parents, Kellly and Angie Guice with medical expenses for Braelynn’s heart surgery.

FREEDOM BAPTIST

COVENANT CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Covenant Christian School is hosting several camps over the summer.

Math Camp will be held July 16-20. The cost is $150. The focus will be on fractions, multiplication, graphs, geometry and units of money.

Arts and Crafts Camp will be held July 23-27. The cost is $150.

All camps are for children ages 5 to 10. There is limited space in each camp. All camps run from 9 a.m. until noon each day.

CALVARY ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Calvary Assembly of God, 300 Canal St., will be hosting their third annual Mega Sports Camp this summer. The camp is held every Wednesday night, starting at 6 p.m. The camp began June 6 and ends July 25. It is designed for children 12-years-old and younger.

The camp features an interactive Bible story, an object lesson with a sports story, high-action worship songs, and the kids learn new sports skills and then use them in game-related activities. The summer theme is “Go the Distance” and it will teach children to run the race of life God’s way, all the way.

SPRINGDALE BAPTIST

Springdale Baptist Church will host Vacation Bible School July 16-18.

The theme will be Noah’s Ark with classes for ages four to adults. Commencement will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 22. All are welcome.

VALLEY VIEW BAPTIST CHURCH

Valley View Baptist Church is hosting their Homecoming Sunday July 15 with the Glorybound Trio from Parrotsville, Tenn. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch and the afternoon singing beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Revival services will also begin on July 16-18 at 7:30 p.m. nightly with evangelist Scott Thomas from Temple, Ga.
