Miss Becky Wilson, 16, of Cedartown, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Georgia Pageant to be held July 4-6 at the Hilton Hotel in Atlanta.
The pageant is held for girls ages 16-18.
The winner of the pageant will receive $1,000 cash, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California.
Wilson participates in track, cheerleading and cross-country at Model High School. She also enjoys riding horses, playing paintball and dancing.
