Cedartown woman jailed on drug and parole violation charges

A Cedartown remained at the Floyd County Jail this morning on drug and parole violation charges after she was found with marijuana and cocaine in her hotel room, reports stated.

According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:

Angelina Denise Underwood, 37, of 274 E. Point Road in Cedartown, was taken into custody by Floyd County Sheriff’s deputies at the Stay Lodge, located at 2005 Dean Ave, around 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Underwood was taken into custody on a parole violation warrant, but when police searched her belongings they found bags of suspected cocaine and marijuana hidden inside of Underwood’s change purse.

Police also reported finding two pipes inside of the change purse.

Underwood was being held without bail on felony charges of possession of cocaine and parole violation. She was also being held on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana less than an ounce and possession of drug related objects.
