The Good Friday Community service will begin at noon, April 6 at the First Baptist Church Chapel located at the corner of College and Wissahickon in Cedartown. The service will conclude by 1 p.m. for those who will be on a lunch break.
Translation of the sermons into Spanish will be available as needed.
The following ministers will preach:
1. Nate Galloway, pastor of Cedar Ridge church in Cedartown, will have Judas;
2. John Ragland, pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church, PCA, will have Peter;
3. Tony Davis, pastor of Glad Tiding Church of God in Christ, will have Caiaphas;
4. Delton Harne, former pastor of Cedartown Church of God, will have Pontius Pilate;
5. Bob Hoffman, pastor of Cedartown First United Methodist Church, will have Simon of Cyrene;
6. Leon Allen, pastor of Cedartown Church of God of the Union Assembly, will have the two thieves, and Demetrius Crespo, pastor of Centro Cristiano de Cedar Lake, will have the Roman soldier at the cross.
There will bee a special feature - a little drama. Connie Brown and Brenda will provide special music during our worship.
