Abigail Kiser, an eighth grader at Cedartown Middle School, recently competed in the Northwest Georgia Horsemens Association qualifying show that was held on Oct. 10 in Bartow County.

Kiser placed first in the youth halter class and second in the open halter class. She also competed in the open western pleasure walk/trot/canter class and placed sixth.

Kiser trains with Kristina Medbury of Synergy Performance Horses of Kingston. She has been showing horses since she was 8-years-old.

Kiser’s horse is a registered American Paint Horse that she has named Morning Star’s Diamond Keepsake.

Kiser is a member of the Bartow County Saddle Club, the American Paint Horse Associaiton and a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

She is the daughter of Roger and Melanie Kiser.
