A new tradition is being established for graduates of Cedartown High School, the Cedartown High School Walk of Pride.

2012 graduates, as well as alumni of Cedartown High School are invited to be a part of this exciting new tradition. The Walk of Pride will consist of brick pavers that are engraved with the graduate’s name.

The graduation class and Cedartown High School accolades can also be inscribed under the graduate’s name. An accolade could include a sports number, a club officer position held, an honor bestowed or an organization membership. The bricks will then be installed as a pathway in front of the main building at Cedartown High School.

The hope is that the Walk of Pride will one day wind its way all over campus.

The Cedartown High School Student Council is sponsoring this project to help fund its many school activities, including Homecoming, Homecoming Court, the Spirit Bus and the Miss Bulldog Pride Scholarship Pageant.

The public can purchase a brick for the Walk of Pride by picking up an order form at Cedartown High School 770-748-0490, or one can be downloaded from the Cedartown High School Website.

Bricks can be purchased for $40; an additional keepsake brick can be purchased for $35.

Cedartown High School is excited to begin this new tradition and groundbreaking on phase one will start once 100 bricks have been ordered. See the Walk of Pride Progress in the Cedartown High School front office.

I'm assuming Chick-Fil-A won't sponsor the Walk of Pride
