CEDARSPRING MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH

Cedarspring Missionary Baptist Church will have its Christmas program on Dec. 20, at 3:30 p.m, and its annual Christmas service on Dec. 25, from 8:30-9 a.m.

CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH

Calvary Baptist Church, Rockmart, will host a revival on Dec. 28-30 at 7 p.m. each night. Dr. Doug New from Carrollton will preach.

Special singing will be held each night. Everyone is invited.

CALVARY ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Calvary Assembly of God, located on South Cave Spring Street in Cedartown, will be having its first annual “Christmas at Calvary” event on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 5-7 p.m.

This event is intended for children 12-and-under.

On this day, children are invited to come and enjoy time playing Christmas games and to snack on some goodies.

Also, there will be a fire to roast marshmallows and Calvary’s choir will sing Christmas carols.

All children are invited to this event to learn the true meaning of Christmas and to have fun in a safe environment.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

The First Baptist Church of Cedartown announces Advent activities. On the fourth Sunday of Advent (Sunday, Dec. 20) at 6 p.m. a candlelight service will be held.

This will be the 50th anniversary of the candlelight service at First Baptist.

This service will feature First Baptist’s Sanctuary Choir, Adult Ensemble, Soloists and Orchestra.

WORLDVIEW BAPTIST CHURCH

Worldview Baptist Church will present “The Ornament” Christmas musical on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

ARAGON METHODIST CHURCH

The Aragon Methodist Church Food Pantry served 43 families during the past month. This has depleted its supply of grocery items and the church is asking for help in replenishing its supply.

The following items are needed: dried beans, canned goods, including soups, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, noodles and similar items.
