Aragon man charged with auto theft

An Aragon man was jailed Thursday for reportedly taking a 1988 White Ford Escort off the lot of Boatfield’s auto on Martha Berry Highway on Sept. 15, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Paul Manuel Wofford, 21, of 615 N. Bellview Road in Aragon is charged with felony theft by taking auto. The car was recovered at an undisclosed location in Polk County.

The value of the car was estimated at $1,500. Wofford remained in jail this morning.
