The Cedartown Theatrical Performers Company will present their eighth show, "Into the Woods" beginning Thursday Aug. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center.

The show will run through Saturday, and features 28 young actors ranging from ages 9 to 24-years-old who have rehearsed all summer.

Tickets are on sale now for $10 at the performing arts center. They may also be purchased online at www.cedartownshows.com.

"You don't have to go to Atlanta and spend $65 and fight the traffic to see a great show," Bill Lundy, one of the principle owners said. "I'm talking about a real quality Broadway show and the best part is you will know most everyone on stage. The talent is that good here."

Lundy said the actors rehearsed between four and six hours a day. The stage sets came from Hollywood, New York City and Nashville.

Show times run on Aug. 9, 10 or 11 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m. For more information, call 770-748-5643.
